The second in a series of three drawings of iconic Minneapolis-St. Paul neon signs, the Grain Belt sign faces downtown Minneapolis, sitting aside the Hennepin Avenue Bridge. The sign was retrofitted with LEDs in 2017 and illuminated after decades of darkness.

Atop the former Gold Medal Flour production facility, now a museum, it glows a bright yellow that is nodded to by accents on the nearby Guthrie Theater.
